I would not actually ask each parent as then when you make a decision you will be telling Parent A that you dismissed her thoughts or A and B. Just do what you think works best. Parents will adapt or ask..

This, I want my child back. Not to worry, I will get them where ever you tell me to. Ask another parent to drive or have Dad drive if you want to invite more kids.

When I did something similar for my kid, I had parents drop off at the location then pick up at my house (which was the second location...we did lunch out then crafts/games at home). No one had a problem with it.

For this sort of thing, I usually have drop off at the site as the default but then put a note in the evite that if anyone would prefer to drop off at or pick up from my house just let me know. I always just put a premium on making sure kids can get to the party so whatever works.

Talk to the parents. It would really depend on how well I know you at that point if you will use a booster seat. I don't want my kid free roaming at a public venue and if you weren't one to supervise I'd probably say I'd drive to each location or offer to help. If I knew you well and you supervised I'd drop off/pick up where ever you needed me to.

I'd have them drop off at the first location and pick up at your house after party's end. and.... if the families know each other, you can suggest that families who live near each other carpool. (then each family is either picking up or dropping off.)

I would be fine with any of them but would not expect C. If I had an issue with your choice, I would probably contact you and ask if I could drop off at the place cuz it is closer to me or whatever. Don't worry about it

That sounds ideal, but very expensive. I would have drop off at a location, so you aren’t waiting on one late family to start your party. Pick up at your house, so if a family is late, you aren’t at the ice rink forever.

If my DD were invited, option B (have everyone arrive at and get picked up from your home) would be best. Mostly because Ex-DH doesn't read carefully and would probably go to the wrong place for pickup.

Get a limo.

I think options A or B are fine. C (you picking up and dropping off everyone) seems too cumbersome.

For her 10th birthday (in February), DD has requested two things. Lunch or dinner at Cheesecake Factory, and ice skating with her closest friends, something like 4-5 girls. We'll have to drive the kids between the two venues, and since I have picked up or dropped off the girls (individually, not collectively) after play dates and such, so I don't think any of the parents would have a problem with that. The question is one of drop off/pick up. Would you as a parent be okay with dropping off at one venue and picking up at another? Should we just start at home and end back here? Pick up and drop off everyone on the way? Whatever we choose, it will not be optimal for someone or the other, because no one lives anywhere near each other, and are closer to home, one location, or the other. I'm probably overthinking this.
