But Lexus is boring, something something big grille, and my black/white/gray BMW/Mercedes/Audi makes me look super interesting and unique

The grille hate is real. I can't find a good replacement for my 2006 Camry among the mainstream brands so now going to look at the luxury ones. The grille is the only thing keeping me away from the Lexus. I may have to just get over that, because I want something as reliable as my Camry has been.

They do have Android Auto now, right?

2020 RX and NX have Carplay. GX and LX do not.

Why is it that the more expensive a car is, the less likely it is to have an actual model name, rather than random combos of letters and numbers? (Yes, I know this practice is also big with Honda and Mazda).

In maintenance costs? Sure does

+ 4,274.16

Which is what front brake rotors and pads cost on my wife's Cayenne Turbo cost back in June. At 65,000 miles.

Meanwhile my 2011 Avalon with 160k was $600 for all four brakes, at 140k.

That Porsche has been the biggest POS we've ever owned. But she needs an appropriate "image" vehicle for work. So we deal with it.

If you’re gonna pay 60k for a GX go back 2 or 3 years and get the LX. Huge upgrade and will go 300,000 miles no problem

You don't see the early GLs anymore because they're all mechanically totaled and sitting in junkyards.

We have a 2016. I wish it had Carplay and the tailgate didn't open in such a stupid way but other than that very happy with it.

Thinking of purchasing the 2020 Lexus GX-460 due to a number of reasons, the primary reason being it's truck based platform and towing capability. We have two Lexus vehicles so very satisfied with the quality of Lexus products. Any GX owners out there care to share your experience?
