I see that Jelleff field thread in recent topics a lot.

And I only end up on that page when my fat fingers tap the link when I’m intending “recent”.

I hardly look at that page and sometimes even forget about it. Since I haven't done anything with it in about 10 years, I couldn't remember how it works. I looked at the database query and it only selects threads created within the last 30 days. Since the Jelleff thread is older, it doesn't get selected. Obviously there are better ways this can be done, but I don't think the page gets all that much use.

I’m surprised to find that the Jelleff field thread doesn’t appear on the hottest list. I think it’s grown by several pages in the last day (following the hearing). How does the site identify the hottest topics? I’m curious. Thanks.
