I loved it! Considering I hated the movie, that was a pleasant surprise. My 13 year old will sit this one out.

Glad to see that people are learning about the Tulsa massacre in 1921 from the series. I don't think it's common knowledge. Regina King is wonderful in it. To be honest, I've always liked her as an actress but I never thought she was a brilliant as people think - but she's *really* good in this!

I am wondering about how the producers will eventually handle the repressive aspects of the police. They remind me of brutal law enforcement in some Central American countries where the police are more of a gang than a formal institution governed by the rule of law. It will be interesting to see how that plays out.

It was really confusing and really violent. I think I'll give the second episode a try to see if it improves, but it was not a very good start.

Lost was starting from nothing though and Watchmen had a background. I felt like I had to google a lot like Nixon, Robert Redford (Redfordations), bad versus good guys, blacks vs whites etc.

I watched last Sunday and came here to see if anybody was talking about it. Yes! It seems like a great show and I am looking forward to the next episode.

Psyched to see it. Will wait until all 9 episodes are live in Dec though.

We watched the first epi last night and will definitely keep watching.

I saw it and really liked it also. And I don’t usually enjoy comic book stuff. My husband LOVED it and is all psyched to have a new show. Regina King was great. And I remembered for the first time in 30 years that Don Johnson released an album.

I just watched the first episode and really loved it. The cast is excellent. I did not read the comic book or see the movie. Anyone else seen it?
