Think op is wondering whether a buying a cheaper car that is located far away is worth the drive.

No. Long highway drive is not recommended for a new car.

I feel like you shouldn’t buy a new car that can’t do a long highway drive.

Pp is talking about Break in period for a new car

I have never heard of anything like this. It sounds like a good idea if you are buying a car in 1913, but I would imagine it is not necessary for a new car in 2019.

Google “new car break in” period. Not new.

Keep it under 100mph and 4500 RPM. Should not be too difficult on the highway.

Depends on the car. For some cars, of course it is worth it. For most cars, no. What are you looking at OP?

Varying speed is recommended - even though some would argue this warning no longer applies.

No, cheaper in MD over VA. VA has higher dealer fees. Email all the dealers in the area and see who gives you the best price.
