We like to wear simple analog watches. My children have narrow wrists so it's always been hard to find non-kiddie watches for them. Eventually I found a silicone wristband that wasn't too large for my 9 year old daughter on Amazon:

My son loved his sports Timex from Target. He could set alarms, use as a stopwatch, etc. and when he lost it swimming in a lake, it wasn’t the end of the world. He bought himself the same watch again, so I know he really liked it.

Does your kid want a watch? I think it is very rare these days for kids yo want one. My kids, kept getting watches but never got in the habit. They look at their phone now.

Real watch or smart watch?

If real watch, Casio makes durable retro style ones in all colors. Like 20 bucks so not tragic if they lose it.

I am trying to buy a watch for 8 year old. I was looking at swatch watches for kids. Please recommend your watch for a 8 year old.
