Here's our situation: it's been parked and not driven for a LOOOONG time. In the driveway. Long story why.
I want to get it back in driving shape and registered etc, so I just want a garage to do a really thorough once-over to get it in good shape, take care of what needs taking care of but not add a bunch of stuff that's really fine.
Do any of you have mechanics/garages that you think would do a good job and be as fair as possible in price? As close to NE DC as possible would be great, but I'd be happy to know about any great mechanics...
Thanks for your honesty everyone!
Hill Auto repair on E Street SE near Eastern Market Metro. Brown’s used to be good but tried to get me to have a bunch of things repaired that didn’t need it the last time I was there for a recall. Hill Auto is very good with Hondas.

We took our cars religiously to the dealership for years and years before we saw the light. They are now giving you free coffee, massage chairs, wifi and Manicure Mondays ....and charging you hundreds more everytime.
