You're right. It IS purely evil to not do something that driving instructors, police, car insurance agents, and your fellow drivers are urging you to do, for safety's sake. It’s an automatic habit so I don’t have to think about whether they should be on or not. I turn the car on, turn the lights on. Turn the car off, turn the lights off. Brights/high beam only when driving at night.
Is there a reason not to do this that I don’t know about?
