We thought about doing this for a hot minute but then decided we couldn't justify the cost, couldn't attend enough games next year to make it worthwhile, and it didn't seem worth the hassle of offloading tickets. But there's someone in my office who will sell regular season games for cheap- he'll send out an email every couple weeks with the dates available. This seems like a good strategy for the regular season to me because the games rarely sell out and stubhub fees can be expensive.

FIL is a very real fan in a season ticket group. Key word is "group."

So, DH and FIL attended game 3. They are real fans who are will were willing to pay $$$ via Stubhub.

screw you. They weren't saying that real fans pay and casual fans won't. My grandfather played for the Senators in 1933, the last time DC was in the WS. We are obsessive fans, but both teachers ... We cannot afford even one ticket to one game. Doesn't make us not 'real' fans. Jerk

Stub hub may be the easiest and most likely to net you the highest price. But I abhor the fees that would go to stub hub. These are not hard tickets to sell. I’d offer to friends and then colleagues. But, to them, I wouldn’t up charge too much.

We no longer live in DC so the season ticket deal wouldn’t have worked for us — or else I would have jumped on it in seconds. We used to have season tickets when we lived here (mini plan, but still!). I would buy your tickets in a hot second.
