I think you are a troll from Virginia. I live in Maryland and always use my turn signals. It annoys me too especially when I am waiting to turn left and I think the car is going straight but, at the last minute turns left ( in the shared space)

Agree with earlier poster -- I don't want to give away my plans to other drivers. They will just speed up and prevent me from shifting lanes.

Also, use at at the 4 way stops! Every single day I'm at a busy 4 way stop sign, 2-3 cars deep in each corner, with 2 of the corners 2 lanes. Signaling would make that whole mess faster if you knew where each car was going.

This is my pet peeves....I WILL let someone in if it's reasonable to do so. Signal. Wave if I've been extra nice about it. But don't cut me off without a friggin turn signal. The signal, in addition to being safer so that I know someone is about to be in front of me, is like a little "excuse me". Not using it is like grunting as you walk past someone.

Using a turn signal gives your next move away to another driver who may (and will) then choose to aggressively cut you off or otherwise block your desired action. Signaling a line change is basically the equivalent of guaranteeing you'll get cut off from completing it.

Some people are bad drivers. That's it.

In Florida I’m pretty sure that retirees assume that it is their God given right not to use turn signals once they are collecting social security.

Yes I've posted this question before but I couldnt find it in search and that was four years ago anyway. If you drive in this area and you don't use turn signals can you please tell me why? I'm not talking about dedicated turn lanes or right on red I totally understand letting that go but what about this whole just stopping in the middle of a main street to turn onto side street and nobody behind you knows why you stopped? What is that all about?\
