After 10 minutes on campus, my DS, who is used to and at home with the diversity in his public high school, looked around and remarked that the place was all white. I looked around and he was right.
So, not believing my eyes, I looked it up later. AA students make up only 5% of the population, Hispanic students even less than that. Not sure how a public university in a major urban center could be so un-diverse, but it is.
My DS crossed it off his list, for other reasons in addition to its lack of racial diversity.
