Hang on to them and if they don't fit by mid winter donate. I would not try to sell shirts I bought for $1-3 when there are people struggling to put clothes on their children. Give them to a YWCA or domestic violence shelter. You would make someone's day to get 'new' clothes

Considering I have sold them used every year since birth, I’d say you are wrong. They are great play clothes.

Used Cat & Jack? They are like $5 new without any sale or coupon! Why would someone buy them used?

Maybe she's selling 3 for 5$

Hang on to them - they may fit in January.

Does she want to wear the stuff? At 9 I'd think that is the bigger hurdle than the sleeves being slightly long and other things a bit baggy--it kind of sounds like she is between sizes anyway so the next size smaller wouldn't fit and be too tight/short--which is worse. If she wants to wear the clothes than keep them.

So your concern is that they will remain too big all season since she is maxed out on growth for the moment? Just let her wear them a little baggy. And let this serve as a lesson that you can no longer count on buying ahead.

No, they are a little baggy and long in the sleeves. I’m torn because it’s possible I can shrink them and they’ll fit perfectly enough, but maybe they won’t shrink. Then I’ve cut the tags off and they are no longer ‘new with tags’ to sell.

Last year I bought DD9 a bunch of long-sleeved shirts on clearance. Stuff from Target Cat & Jack were $1.80, stuff from Justice around $3.19 a piece. She literally just had a major growth spurt over the summer, so I’m not confident they will even fit later this winter. It’s entirely possible they could shrink just enough if I wash and dry my them on hot/warm. But maybe not. They are all new with tags, so I could also probably make my money back on Marketplace. I can’t decide the best course of action so I’m crowdsourcing. Wwyd?
