Not true. Agreed that the application will be unique to the kid..but it is based on the home school/region. There is NO universal screening for high school. Students can apply to various home school programs along with choice based (lottery) and application based (test). Students applying for magnet will have test on Dec 7th. The application along with test results, teacher recs, MAP, PARCC, course selection and pathway, awards etc are considered as part of selection process.
