I purchase from Hanna A. LOT. I stock up on the next size when there are sales. Everything from socks, underware, dresses, etc.
Last week I called Hanna about some slips that i purchased last fall that are falling apart. They've only been worn a few times, as my daughter just grew into them. So the customer service told me that they changed their policy in July 2019. THey are only taking returns from last 6 months, with tags and receipt.
I am so disappointed!! This is what made Hanna stand out from the rest.
This is their new return policy:
RETURN POLICY
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Unwashed and unworn merchandise can be returned within 60 days of original purchase.
Refunds with an original receipt are issued in the original form of payment shown on the receipt. Credit card purchases are refunded only to the same credit card used to purchase the item.
If you are making a return without an original receipt and/or proof of purchase, we will do our best to look up your original purchase information. If we are unable to find the purchase, you will be credited for the items at the last sale price on the date of the return in the form of a Hanna gift card.
When returning a gift, you’ll receive your refund on a Hanna gift card.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund shipping fees.
All items ending in $0.79 are Final Sale and non-returnable.
Any product returned outside of the return policy will not be processed.
Hanna merchandise purchased from other sellers or retailers cannot be returned at a Hanna store, distribution center or online. Please contact the seller for return.
So eyelet slips falling apart do not count as a defect and wouldn't be accepted under this new policy (had they been purchased post policy).
