If you've already passed that step though, then you could try selling it privately through Craigslist, etc., but another way to go is to donate it. We donated both our previous cars to charity. Pretty sure they sell them for parts and you get a tax credit for the estate. One year we donated to the American Lung Association, the other to WAMU (I think).

Yes, I've got the title issue squared away but I don't have a lot of time for Craigslist and the vehicle needs to be towed asap. I would rather sell but if not, will look into charities. Will these charities take vehicle that doesn't run?
