If adults are expected to stay then serve them as much as the kids. I think you’d be fine doing just heavy snacks (fruit tray, goldfish, cheese and crackers etc) before cake when the party is 2:30-4:30 but if you’re serving a full meal to the kids then feed their parents as well.

She said. I outside food allowed. I would just get extra pizza for adults. The end.

Yes, you buy some extra pizza and serve the parents. They are taking the time to come to your party, the least you can do is feed them.

I personally hate when you feed my child hits cake. For a two hour venue with a 1/2 hour drive time in beteeen, he will be hungry. Just serve some cheap pizza please.

I would not expect food at 2-4.

You expect a meal at 4pm? Do you really eat dinner at 4pm?

Yes, we do eat dinner at 4 as mine have PM activities. We just had a party at that time and all the parents and kids ate.

Yes, order extra for adults. Also please have water for adults. I've been to a few parties where there was only juice for the kids and nothing to drink for the adults.

Asked and answered in the DCUM common thread q&as. Yes, provide food, yes have enough for adults, even if it’s rude for adults to eat at kid parties.

I don't think you need to serve a meal to anyone at that time, but if you are serving pizza to the kids and are inviting parents to stay, then I think it is rude not to offer them pizza. So if I were you I would just do fruit/chips/pretzels for everyone or make it a drop off party.

I don't provide food to parents of elementary school children because I don't want to encourage them to stay. Drop your kid off and go.

Hosting a birthday party at a venue where no outside food is allowed, in the afternoon between 2:30-4:30. Do I need to provide pizza to the adults too or just serve them cake?

If you were attending one at that time, what is your expectation?
