This 27th Sept date is orchestrated in order to best serve the kids who have done the hours, that's all.
My DD puts the same vague answers to all the questions each time. Does someone really read them? Her answers often make no sense for the activity.
No. The questions and answers were put in place for students to get trained in answering college admissions type or employment type questions. It is also meant to be there to prod students into reflecting about what they have contributed, what experience they have gained, how was what they did beneficial to society, how it linked to their education, and what they found out about themselves. Its a great self-reflection and practice, a tool that most students would benefit from, if they took some time to fill it correctly. It also works to provide them with a way to answer the "any previous experience?" question.

There's always some silly B.S. make work project that the school creates so DC can earn the hours, so I'm certainly not going to make any further effort. Too many other more important things to do with my life.
