Subject: Participate in our PLAY study from the Georgetown Early Learning Project!
Do you have a child between 10 and 24 months?
PLAY stands for Play and Learning Across a Year and observes one hour of natural play between 12, 18 and 24-month-olds and their mothers to see what a typical day looks like for them. Participation in the project entails a phone questionnaires about parents' background, the1- hour observation which will be video recorded while a tablet measures the ambient sound level, a walkthrough of rooms in the house where the child spends the most time, 5 minutes of structured play between the mother and child, and ends with an age-appropriate questionnaire about the child's skills and routines. Participants will be compensated with a $25 amazon gift card.
