Sadly, this is true. And I say this as a MoCo resident.
Last year 20% of our high school students missed 15 days or more of school. And on the days that 20% IS in school, they’re dragging down the rest of the kids around them.

Who cares? At least they're trying. The only thing MoCo tries to do is lose or grow no jobs, spend find of money they don't have, and run up huge budget deficits. I have a feeling you don't understand economics. Virginia didn't throw away money. It forfeited some future tax revenue. The money never existed to spend on something else.
