+1 on the storage. Some sedans have better storage that SUVs

The must-haves:
good high-mileage car (she puts a TON of miles on for work travel)
comfortable (for all those hours in the car)
minimal cabin noise (for calls on the road)
relatively spacious cargo area (no sedans/coupes)
AWD (for bad weather)
leather seats (easier to clean)
good gas mileage ($$$)

Your thoughts??
Thanks!

how much are you willing to spend? no sedan/coup requirement limits your choices significantly.

Yeah, budget is a key component in coming up with suggestions.

Honda CRV is very spacious and comfortable. I've never had an issue with road noise, before the CRV I had a Ford Escape and that had awful road noise so I would definitely stay away from that. With highway travel I usually average about 30 mpg or more and 25ish mpg with city driving.

If you want a vehicle that can run well w/high mileage, then your best bet would be to go for a Japanese brand@ vs. Domestic.

I highly recommend purchasing a Honda or Toyota, they are both very comparable in this area.

I hear good things about Subarus too, but Nissan....not so much.

Good luck & have fun car shopping!
