Yes I have had a successful pregnancy with a similar level.

The first was a FET - resulting in twins. They are 4 now.

I saw an endocrinologist during the pregnancy as well

I assume you know that, if you get pregnant, that alone can cause your TSH level to climb. If I remember correctly, I think my RE ran TSH bloodwork 3 times during my FET cycle.
Is your RE the one who prescribed synthroid, or is that handled by your PCP?


Thanks again. My RE prescribed the synthroid to me and i wish he had ordered TSH for each blood draw. If I may ask by how much did you increase your dosage during your FET and after getting pregnant?


PP here. With my FET, I went up from 50-75mcg. Now that I am pregnant, I’ve gone from 75 to 88mcg.

I got through my first pregnancy with only one dosage adjustment, but I’m older now and my thyroid seems less stable, so I’m expecting to have to adjust again.

Yes. My TSH levels were roughly the same for my first FET, which was a successful transfer. I was followed very closely throughout pregnancy and my dosage of levothyroxine adjusted accordingly. Are you seeing an endocrinologist, OP?

I'm pregnant again and seeing an endo for the thyroid issue (Hashimoto's). He insisted I come in as soon as I got a positive pregnancy test, and he adjusted my medication immediately. I'll have to be checked every 4 weeks, assuming this one sticks.

Yep. My TSH was 2.9. They did a FET and never treated my thyroid. Almost 25 weeks pregnant. I should add I got my TSH tested a few weeks into pregnancy and it was down to 2.12.

My TSH after my failed fresh transfer was 3 and then 2.5 weeks ago it was 2.7 and I’ve been since taking increased dosage of synthroid - has anyone had subclinical hypo and had a successful FET or a fresh transfer?
