Just to reassure folks -- my sweet boy got the lowest possible score on the ISEE (I was amazed), and schools didn't care. He had his choice of four middle schools.
His WISC-V was slightly (but not much) above average, and he's athletic and has good grades. I guess the schools were willing to look at the whole picture.

The advice above, about waiting to submit scores until you are sure which administrations you want schools to see, is sound. I am not aware of any schools that accept the SSAT but will not accept the ISEE, or vice-versa.

Most schools will accept it if you dig down into their admissions information. They generally list the SSAT, but if you look more closely you'll see many take the ISEE as well.

Just make sure, when you are signing up for the test, that you do not request your scores to be sent to any schools. Your scores will be sent to you (or your current school) and you can look at them first before deciding whether to "add a school" to send them on to the new schools.

FYI - even if your child takes one of these tests twice, you can choose to only submit the scores you like best.

If my child takes both and we want to submit only one set of results can we do that? Do they appear on the same testing transcript?
