Not the way we do homeschooling. My kids have LOTS of social opportunities- every day! They have classes and activities and playdates and social outings. They're just not in an institutional school setting. (Not religious btw)

The homeschool forum has seemed pretty dead, as frankly have the listservs I’ve checked out! Any to recommend? (We’re in NoVa and unlikely to move to MD.)
Do a google search. There is a huge homeschool listserve for NoVa. I wish we had one like it in MoCo.

Many homeschoolers in Silver Spring and throughout Montgomery County. MHLN yahoo group is a good place to start your research.
