Visited Launch. It was nice but limited number of activities.

Good to hear about Chucky Cheese being good for this age. Sounds like a good option. Maybe going to try to visit Launch, a new place, to see if it might be good.

Our December birthday kindergartener will have his at Chuck E Cheese. Many of his preschool classmates have had theirs there and he loves it.

The Zoo party went better than I expected, but we did a small one (about 10 kids). Parents did not really drop off. Not too much walking. You can look at Dynamite Agility or Gymnastics spots too. My kids liked those parties.

5-6 is good age for Chuck E Cheese. After about age 6 or they start to prefer Dave and Buster’s, in my experience.

But the kids LOVE Chucky Cheese! It is for the kids. Right? It is clean, and their sweet chili boneless wings are actually good!

One of my kids loved Chuck E Cheese. I very reluctantly hosted a bday party there for him. Easy, kids loved it. It’s right by Badlands.

Forgot to say national zoo takes care of food, goody bags, activities. I just brought a cake.

Badlands is good for that age, but I don’t have personal experience with hosting a party there. National zoo is good too, but might max out at 20 kids. We did one there (kid turning 5) and I was very impressed. Plus you get a tax deduction.

Just saw on Cabin John website that the party room is not available to rent in October so probably too risky to plan on outdoor eating if the weather is bad?

Cabin John is a great suggestion! Any other suggestions where the place does pretty much everything like provide food etc? Just saw online a new place in Rockville called Launch trampoline park. Anyone know about it? Thanks!

Cabin John playground. There is a party room next to the train. It will be the spooky I spy train!!

Our son just started kindergarten at a Bethesda school and his birthday is in October so we need to work on his birthday party. Will invite his whole class which is about 22 kids. Looking for some place in NW DC or Bethesda where the place does pretty much everything. We did Bounce U last year which was good but our son does not want it again. Suggestions? Thanks so much!!
