Subject: Do you accept the fact that your child will be a washout when they grow up?
I can tell that he won’t be an MD or a lawyer. But he can still have a great life and do wonderful things.

Op you are a textbook narcissist. Get some help. Thank god your kids have unconditional love from their dad.

Some children mature later than others. Please give your children the time and space to grow. I have been surprised by the growth my DS has shown in later high school and as a freshman in college.

Not a child with a learning disability or on a spectrum... my DS is 12, still young, but He shows no motivation or effort with anything- he’s neither driven by money, his father indulges him. DD, is no better,. I told my husband he’s not doing his kids any favors “letting things go” or by spoiling them. DH always overdoes more, if I say anything negative. I don’t bother fighting it anymore. My kids better hope I die before him...
