Napping makes nighttime sleep issues worse anyway, so you might as well wake him up and go for it.

Gold star answer.

Same here. How is this even a discussion? When toddler dd takes her afternoon nap that's when we have weekend day time sex and then nap for an hour. Glorious. Everyone is happy for the afternoon.

Those were the good ole days for us. Now they're bigger but not so big that they know about sex and will leave us alone.

Attempt the sex after he wakes up but before he gets out of bed

So, has he gotten a prescription yet? Because if he has ED you can't be sure of anything. And even then. And if he hasn't gotten a prescription means he is not particularly motivated to have sex again.

Me, I would do it, but you need to have a conversation with him. Sex is part of a relationship, and you need to find options that work for both of you.

Sex. You might as well try it and if you get blow back don't do it again.

My spouse has chronic sleep difficulties. We also have an essentially dormant sex life (ED related). I would like to suggest we try a late weekend afternoon session in bed, but he is often napping then. He typically is totally for many things in theory, but in practice not so much. I realize I’m just looking for validation but should I just dive in and wake him —? Er, gently?
