Remember that you are not just dealing with a teenager but also the teenager’s mother. Ask the teenager her rate and add a couple bucks to it.

That's a lot of hours for a 16 year old. . We pay $12-12 for a couple hour for evening babysitting for same ages. Close in MD. But for 6 hrs I'd pay more.

If you try to go cheap on you neighbor’s kid, her mother will hold it against you.

We live in dc. What is going rate? She will be watching for 2 days. Approximately 6-7 hours. One child who is 4. (She’s very responsible next door neighbor.)
