Had my first at 30 and second at 32. Considering a third at 35 if all goes as planned. But if doesn’t work out for some reason I’m ready to just be grateful for my life and move on.

But this is more due to spacing purposes than my age. I don’t want to be hanging on to baby gear and continuing to mommy track myself at work for years to come, or end up being in the baby stage and older kid stage at once. I’m ready to get past the crappy sleep and diaper stage for good!

40. Had my first at 30, 6 years of infertility had my second at 36. Almost died giving birth, lots of complications. Probably won’t have a 3rd. I’m 38 now

35 was my cut off. I had my last one at 34.

I had first at 40, and don't want any more, so my personal number is 40. However, had I not had this child I can imagine myself trying and holding out hope til 45.

I had two (first at 28, second at 31). I’d like another - open to 42/43.

Had my youngest at 40. I though I was done at 36.

36, when I had my thyroid removed because of a chronic condition that flared to a dangerous level. Suddenly my body felt 10 years older. It was so depressing to feel old and unhealthy. 4 years later I'm still struggling with this, even on an optimal dose of replacement thyroid hormones.

Thank goodness I had my kids early, at 25 and 30!

40. Had second at 40 with a 2.5 yo at home. Incredibly challenging. Exhausted, and sleep deprivation so tough. Can’t bounce back from all the toddler illnesses. Pregnancy was very tough on me even just two years later. Plus Feel guilty the kids Might lose me in their 30’s.

Probably 40. I’m 35 now with 2 and I’d love a 3rd but my husband isn’t sure. No real reason for 40 cut off except that we’d like to retire as young as possible.

I think 45. I had my first at 39. Thinking about a second, since everything was way easier than I thought it would be...

I am 36 and have two kids and I am done. If I was younger, I may have entertained one more! Mostly fear of health risks.

And what is your reasoning? (health risks.. too tired.. don't want kids when you're older)
