I agree. I think we have the worst newscasters. I think they get experience and then move here and basically don’t leave. My parents’ smaller city has really fun, young Newcasters. Obviously this is ageism but still.

I like her! I often like her fashion choices as well.

I've watched a Doreen since she arrived, maybe circa 1989? She was one of the first female anchors who had that annoying, clipped "anchor lady" voice; still heard by female sportscasters, for some reason.

She loosened up her delivery style a bit, or maybe I'm just used to her now. I'll give her credit for her amazingly toned and shaped arms. She's one of the few anchors who should wear sleeveless dresses proudly!

She's a news anchor, not an exotic dancer.

I am amazed she has survived so long. She has no personality and is as stiff as a board. I am sure she’s a lovely person of air but she brings zero excitement. Leon Harris, and before him Jim Vance, tried to lighten things up but Doreen is just so boring.
