AG has built a brand that has been appreciated across generations. Sure you can go a little over the top buying their stuff but no more-so than a lot of other consumer brands. Take a chill pill.

Bitty babies are perfect for that age. DS and all our DDs got them around that age and they were favorites until they outgrew dolls.

Boo to you. I received my AG doll when I was 5 years old and I still have her (Molly). She's in a lovely trunk my dad painted for her with all of her stuff. She was a special toy, and I would receive a new outfit for her each year at Christmas.

Perfect age for a Bitty baby. DD is 4, received hers from her grandmother at 1.5, and has gotten outfits and accessories for her as Christmas/birthday/flower girl presents over the last couple years.
She loves playing at the store, especially the kitchen, so I think it's a great birthday treat for her age.

Mine got her AG doll at 3, as a bribe to potty train. Best $105 I ever spent. She is 10 now and still plays with it.

Not too young at all. DD got one at around 2.5 and we all had lunch at the AG cafe in New York.
She still loves that doll. And it’s really a beautiful doll.

Yay or nay if you think this is a good idea: DD is turning 3 next month and is doll obsessed. Was thinking of taking her to AG to get an itty bitty baby and to the restaurant for lunch. Is she too young? Other ideas for a little girl that loves love loves baby dolls?
