Thanks all! OP here. Went for HCG and scan yesterday. My hcg went down over past few weeks to 500 from 15,000. The scan showed my uterus had passed all the tissue but I had something in my cervix they saw- radiologist thought tissue. The dr called and suspected it was just a blood clot. I’ve had period like bleeding still and had some mild cramps today. I had my appetite back yesterday but my stomach feels off again and I’m nauseous tonight. Hoping it passes soon and things start to improve.

How are you doing, OP? Fatigue and nausea sound more like pregnancy symptoms to me--is it possible the dates are wrong? What you describe doesn't sound like an infection. In any case, I hope you are feeling better.

I wouldn't worry about an infection if you don't have a fever. If you spike a fever, go to the ER.

But miscarriages can just take time. I'm sorry.

Doesn't sound like a complete miscarriage. I found out about mine around 6-7 weeks, but didn't actually miscarry until 10 weeks.

It took my miscarriage over 3 weeks to pass all the way. It could just be normal or its an issue, but you should talk to a doctor. I'm so sorry, its an awful thing to go through.

Call the doctor, but it's probably an incomplete miscarriage. Mine have taken weeks to resolve naturally and your symptoms sound normal. You should check to make sure your hcg goes down to below 5. It may take awhile. You may start and stop bleeding at various times. A fever is a sign of infection. I'm sorry for your loss.

How did you know? I had a scan 3 weeks ago that showed no development since week 6 and no heart beat and I would have been 7 weeks. I had been spotting since week 5. Since the scan which showed sac/placenta I’ve inky had light bleeding with not much cramping. I did almost stop bleeding but now since Saturday I’ve had like a medium period bleeding. Is this an incomplete miscarriage or an infection? Pregnancy test still reads a positive. I’ve been really tired the past few days and now feeling nauseous and have a headache/little light headed. Is this is sign of infection? Plan to call my dr in the am but not sure what to expect.
