Anonymous wrote:DS strongly considered it and got a very attractive merit award. It is absolutely beautiful and surrounded by a huge nature preserve that is owned by the university. It is very remote though and I'm not sure how a kid not into the outdoors would do. DS eventually decided he wanted something a big larger. I'd say if you were looking for the LAC experience and to stay, or be in, the South it's a good option. I'd also say schools like Centre and Belmont might be similar, but not as rural.
