My bet is that the shower is big enough for all three AND it has multiple showerheads/water jets. No water savings at all.

I was never keen on the idea of showering with someone I was sleeping with under a single showerhead and having to take turns with the water.

My parents did that with us (5 kids) when we were little.

+1. Gender and age should not matter.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. My sister, an American, is currently in Europe as a visitor for work. I am taking care of her American boys, here in America, while she's gone.

But hot water heaters in Europe aren't as good as they are here so it doesn't matter what nationality they are. Lack of unlimited hot water is the issue.

Why would hot water heaters in Europe influence the showering behavior of American kids, who live in America, and are currently taking a shower in America?

I wouldn’t allow my kids to do it. I assume this is a standard size shower at that? Gross, they are too close to each other

Showering together not weird —though you have a mighty big shower.

Shampooing each other makes you sound like a troll.

Eh our tween daughters shower together. I’m sure boys shower in gym and it’s no big deal. I’m guessing with the triplets they run out of hot water by number 3, so they fight over who goes first and this is compromise.

My sister is in Europe for work, and I’m taking care of her boys. They are good kids, but I found it weird that they showered together, and even shampooed each other! Are multiples supposed to be this close?
