Me too!!!! I love juicy TV & high politics, although it’s rare finding friends are also like this. That’s ok though!

Anonymous wrote:I see that a lot around here - I love how my friends are all smart and interesting and know all about politics and world affairs and such - and I agree, it's nice to have friends with whom you can talk about "intellectual" stuff. But do you ever just appreciate those friends who aren't interested? My BFF from my hometown is like this, and honestly, sometimes it's nice to hang out and not go on and on about the state of affairs in the US with DJT at the helm (although I know that we both vote Dem) or get into these deep discussions about economics or anything like that that seem to be more common among my DC friends.
I am NOT saying my friend isn't smart - she's a speech pathologist, very smart, and a wonderful human being - it's just different conversation with her. And I like that.
