What degree do you have from LSE? I did a masters degree there and worked my ass off. Equal to my Ivy undergrad and Ivy MBA.

She posts this literally all the time and just has no clue. Best to just ignore.

This is what the American students who came for a semester abroad were called. They lived in a parallel academic universe

I’m pp with the LSE masters. You clearly didn’t go to LSE....LSE doesn’t have a semester abroad. It’s called general course, it’s a year, and a lot of work.

Doesn’t Harvard have one of those programs? Or at least “extension” degrees, whatever they mean, on a par with community colleges.

+1

Another LSE master's degree alum here. See Europe? We grad students mostly saw the inside of the library.

The news about an online undergrad degree does concern me somewhat but I'll reserve judgement until I know more about the content....

Really? I have friends who attended the LSE and they absolutely worked hard and are not slackers, still your typical DC workaholics to this day.

When one of the most respected UK universities makes an online bachelors with a for-profit company, it’s only a matter of time this happens in the US. I mean I guess we already have ASU and Purdue online, but this seems worse because LSE has always had an excellent academic reputation. Disappointed.
