Toured all 3 and these were my impressions:
ccbc - our favorite in terms of the community and overall "curriculum" but the dinky playground right on western was a deal breaker

ccpc - dank basement classroom and the outside space was just ok

ccum - went with this one when DD was 2 but left for a pk3 program. She had outgrown the school.

CCBC is the only one that is only located in the church, not affiliated with it. CCPC's Christmas celebration was not a good fit for this Jewish family. We didn't look at ccumc.

Regarding CCPC, the hallways are a bit dark, but the classrooms have big windows with natural light. CCPC also renovated its playground, a big upgrade.

My child attends CBCC, and although we're leaving for public school next year, we'll always be so grateful to the school. It's managed in an excellent way, all communication from school is clear, concise and makes sense, and the individual approach to kids is so very sweet. For example, my child's teachers dropped off the get-better gift and the poster with notes from the whole class when my child had asymptomatic covid and stayed home.

What about All Saints?

We have been at CCBC this year and I can’t say enough positive things about it. My son is happy and thriving. The teachers are nurturing and the communication from the school is very clear.

CCPC seemed subterranean and dank. CCUMC spent to much time indoors. CCBC's playground is right next to a busy road (Western). All have very nurturing staff it seems.

CCPC is great. I think a tour of each would help you decide. I’ve heard good things about CCUMC too.

I recommend Auguste Montessori. Our daughter thrived there and still loves to go back and 'teach' on DCPS days off.

They're all quite similar in terms of the demographic mix, and sweet preschools. I've had a child at one and know families at the other 2. Of the three, I agree that CCUMC seems to have the most sense of community. Second the suggestion to tour them all, ask to speak with current parents, apply to all of them and then decide. They all offer sibling preference, so in any given year there may be fewer spots in a given class as a result.

We have had three kids at CCUMC and have done camps at CCBC. Both are lovely., lovely schools. I can't say enough good things about CCUMC though. The teachers are so kind and nurturing. You get an email home everyday about what your child did that day and they come out of the school so well prepared for kindergarten. The parents are very enjoyable too -- it's a nice mix of working and stay-at-home parents and there seems to be a niche for everyone. The school does a couple of social events each year and we've always had fun with the other parents.

Happy to answer any specific questions you might have. I'd recommend touring the schools too -- they all have a different feel.
