Is it too early to ask about what we should look to change for next pregnancy? Like progesterone or aspirin? Or is that something to ask my MFM?
I'm so sorry. I had a loss at 19 weeks. After the loss, I went to a MFM doc who told me the chances of this happening again were very slim. But then I had a hard time getting pregnant again, so I went to a fertility specialist who ran a full battery of tests on me. Turned out I had a blood clotting disorder that no one would have caught had I not gone to the fertility specialist.
I guess what I'm saying is get a few opinions. See what the MFM specialist has to say. And then consider going to a fertility specialist to get a work up if the MFM doctor does not offer one. Sometimes these things are just a cruel fluke, and sometimes there is a medical reason behind it that you can help control.
I am so sorry for your loss and I hope that you are able to find hope, comfort, and peace in the days to come.
