We had this issue and it was exactly this.....very simple quick fix at the local garage.

The noise ebbs and flows but goes away when I’m stopped. It literally just started this evening randomly. Tires look OK but I thought I heard a hissing noise from one the other day.

Is sounds like a drum and/or a squirrel is stuck in an attic.

It just had a full diagnostic three weeks ago.

Not driving it anymore. Taking it to the shop 1st thing tomorrow.

UGH.
