We didn’t have a big discussion about it, just sort of figured we’d have 3 if we could. It took me a little longer to get pregnant with our second and then figured a third might not happen, so we started trying pretty much right as soon as we felt we could handle it. Got lucky right away.
2 to 3 kids was a piece of cake for me. I’m a SAHM and was already outnumbered with 2. Oldest was close to 6 and such a huge help, plus in school most of the day. Youngest is now 1.5 and I would totally have a 4th if DH wanted one.
Do you outsource housework or any other home stuff? Just wondering how 3 is a piece of cake if you are the sole one cleaning, cooking, etc.
Does that actually seem hard to you? Sounds boring to me, but easy as hell.
