They carry their backpacks with their binder and any sports attire with them all day.

Mine too. Mine doesn't know the combo to her locker and she's a rising junior.

DS will enter 9th grade, and previously had the use of a locker in middle school, where he could put his backpack. People have told me that high schools are huge, there's no time to go to your locker, etc... So what do high schoolers do? Is there a use for the middle school-approved zippered binder? He won't have a gym bag or instrument for now, it's just academic organization I'm curious about.
