Second that. I read this post on 7/31 and in panic called them at 6:30pm - fertility department folks already finished their shift and went home. The regular med gal who didn’t know about the price increase, took a pity on me and placed an order for Pregnyl at an old price of $91 instead of new $130. So yep, their prices indeed increased.

Ugh - $80 for two vials of PIO is such a good price - wish I had known about this as I paid $100 per vial earlier this year at a pharmacy that shipped from NJ.

+1. I used to have a spreadsheet with all the drugs and the current prices at the major speciality pharmacies nationwide. I’d order wherever. Metro Pharmacy in NJ/NY, Alexander’s, Freedom Pharmacy, and Stroheckers in Portland, OR were a few others I used in addition to those mentioned.

Also, I was sometimes able to get progesterone covered by insurance even though some of my plans didn’t cover fertility drugs.

You don't need to use a local pharmacy. Many pharmacies that stock fertility meds will ship across the country and can even overnight things. I've had good experiences with Mandell's in NJ and South Miami Pharmacy in FL. Also Northridge Plaza Pharmacy in CA. If I needed something last minute Grubb's NW was helpful in a pinch.

He did say there are other specialty pharmacies in NOVA that my clinic might use. Could you share where you go in NOVA and what kind of price you are getting?
