+1. The truth hurts, but until we are all ready to speak about it and acknowledge it, nothing will change there. Of course, ultimately, that is what those in control want.
The truth is that Rep Cummings Committee issued subpoenas to Javanka, and that is what pissed POTUS off and why he is trying to attack Cummings.
The truth is that if a Dem said anything close to as nasty as that about some rural place in Kentucky, the right wing would be outraged the elitism and lack of compassion. Heck, we hear that sort of thing when some anon rando here says some elitist thing about those places. In this case its the President of the USA dunking on an American city.

Your final point is absolutely incontrovertible, though.
Many many areas of the United States have a problem with gun violence, even some garlic festivals in the San Francisco area. That doesn't make Baltimore an outlier as a "scandalous mess." I personally like Baltimore a lot and go there regularly from DC for tourism, specialist medical care and good food.

Hogan said he, unlike Washington, is focused on solving the problems that currently plague Baltimore, but acknowledged he could use some assistance.
