dont do it...injury is guaranteed. Just teach them how to better tie the shoes!

It’s $10 so it might be worth it for you to try it.

I found a way on YouTube to double loop tie the laces (not double tie) and my DD soccer shoe laces never gets undone. It annoys me when a game gets delayed cause kids shoes gets untied during a game.

True I thought about that because for cleats the laces need to be tight/snug.

There are some soccer cleats that don’t need laces. They come with them but fit just as well and most kids take them out. Best thing ever. Adidas (Nemeziz?) and Nike both have them at Dicks.

HA. It appears I might have to. Oddly enough I found nothing online and I assumed untied laces was a problem when playing...perhaps not anymore.

Any parents/kids use Xpand laces to convert the laced cleats to laceless? - https://www.xpandlaces.com/

I worry that they wouldnt be snug enough as tieing your shoe laces. My DS had the nike vision cleats that tucked the laces but he needed a wider shoe. I am not a fan of the large rubber band that goes around the cleat..he wants to be able to slip them off and on and still be snug.
