I limited it to one cup a day during stims, transfer and pregnancy. Everything went fine and my baby is perfectly healthy. my RE said one cup/day was no issue at all.

I had one cup of regular coffee daily through stims, transfer cycles, and now pregnancy. Everything has gone just fine. I'm old and still got 3 PGS normal embryos. I switch to decaf after the first cup. Sometimes I do have a second caffeinated cup due to headaches/migraines, I was happy to reserve that possibility instead of getting used to 2 cups a day (my previous habit). Also sometimes I do just randomly enjoy a second like at a nice coffee place or brunch. Two cups is about or below the current 200mg limit for pregnancy. It's fine.

I don't think it would affect your stim cycle (just make sure you're hydrated), but I'd try to wean to what you're comfortable with during pregnancy. As people above said, 200 mg a day is what I always heard for pregnancy. Maybe just do half caff so you're not dealing with a bunch of headaches on top of the stim side effects.

I drank a cup of coffee daily during IVF. My baby is nursing right now.

This was the sole motivator for me. I weaned before the transfer.

Most of the pregnancy guidelines say a 12 oz cup of coffee a day is fine throughout pregnancy, but my RE preferred no caffeine at all.

+1 (except I didn't cut chocolate)

My RE said 10 ounces a day, same as the 200-300mg of caffeine limit during pregnancy.

Eat, drink and act like you are already pregnant.

What they say about coffee during pregnancy?

I was told one cup was ok, but that was a while ago. You could brew one cup of regular and one cup of decaff and mix in varying amounts until you're "weened." Give yourself 7-10 days.

Hi - if you've had a successful transfer, how much coffee did you drink during IVF, or did you cut it cold turkey? So much conflicting advice online about whether one cup of coffee per day is harmless or not - I just started stims and I drink 1 cup (12-16 oz) per day but I'm worried its too much. But I really dont want to deal with caffeine withdrawal!
