Moana
Leap
Toy Story
Cars
Boss Baby
Monsters, Inc.
Curious George
Polar Express
Finding Nemo

We do pizza and a movie on Friday nights and these have been the biggest hits in that age range. We've streamed all of them but Moana was removed from free streaming in December. My DD was obsessed with it so we bought it to have while traveling.

It really just depends. Age 3 is a prime time for being pretty scared of tense scenes. I have two kids, 2.5 and a new-5 year old. They've been watching the first two Toy Story movies non-stop lately and been fine. I mentioned it to my sister and she said her kids were really scared by some of the scenes in the first one (mainly the kid blowing stuff up next door). It doesn't bother my kids.

We also watch Moana and Frozen, though I skip the scary parts. In Frozen that means I skip the wolves and some of the snow monster. In Moana that means skipping Te-Ka and the grandmother's story at the start.

dp I think Ponyo is too complicated for a three year old. Op, would you consider just thinking of movies your kids would like? Both is kinda of challenging. Personally, I would do the old Disney movies and other classics like 101 Dalmations, Lady and the Tramp, Snow White, Cinderella, Cars ( the first one) Coco, Moana, Frozen of course.

We avoid screens so we write a storybook over the course of the month. Kids love talking about what they want to happen in the next “chapter” all during the week. We do lots of drawing/painting and reading outside of this activity, but they get really excited about this weekly tradition.

My kids (almost 3 and 4.5) are VERY into The Grinch right now. It's on Netflix.

Land Before Time is on HBO, that's MY all time favorite movie so I made my kids watch it

Coco--it was on netflix last I checked and I love the music!

Also have loved Winnie the pooh, moana, lion king, 101 dalmations, Sword and the Stone, and Stuart Little. Also shorter movies like Gruffalo (and all the related movies), snow day, and bear hunt.

As for finding these to stream, if you have an apple tv, you can just find the show on your phone on the internet (and just about everything is somewhere, except for some reason the old Jungle Book cartoon?) and launch it onto your tv.

My 3.5 year old DS is also obsessed with Snow White, but I skip the beginning.

We do weekly family movie night where we watch small chunks of a movie over a month. Prefer movies that parents and kids could enjoy. Bonus if on Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, hbo. Ideas?
