The doctors told my parents it wasn't an allergy, and I suffered with it until I was 40. Stopped eating gluten and dairy (for an autoimmune problem) and the eczema I had since I was 3 went away. It's something to consider.

The company has been saying that it will be available in a couple months for a year now. Obviously they either went bankrupt, or stopped making it. Its to bad, because it was the only non steroid cream that worked for my little one.

It sounds like that was your experience. However, that type of experience is not universal. There are other causes of eczema. And it will not go away just by changing somebody’s diet.

We use eucresia (not sure if I’ve spelled this correctly). It’s a newer non-steroidal anti-inflammatory cream and seems to work well.

I called Denison Pharmaceuticals' sales dept and they have a recorded message saying that hydrolatum is "out of stock" and they expect to have it back in stock in the fall and to "not leave a message regarding hydrolatum" haha, so apparently they've been receiving a lot of calls about it. He then said "for all OTHER inquiries, leave your name, etc.". I hope it's not just a cover for a company that's gone under (and hopefully the message isn't a year old because I know hydrolatum has been missing for that long)--I'm going to hold out hope that it'll actually be back in the fall.

We just finished a jar of hydrolatum and I can’t find replacement anywhere! Has it been discontinued? Is there something similar on the market (EF more than aquaphor?). I liked Hydrolatum because it meant we didn’t have to do baths every single night— it had the moisture already. I’m so bummed- and would love any intel!
