Complain what? Complain that I work too much and never know what's going on at home or with the kids!? That's a like a badge of honor with the guys.

Men are taught to share those details, it shows weakness. They would cheat rather than admit that their sexual lives are controlled by their wife.

All week long I have to deal with problems at work. The last thing I want on a weekend when I’m playing golf with some guys is for one of them to complain in detail about his wife. I don’t give a crap if he hasn’t been laid in a month, I’m trying to make a putt and that is my priority. It helps that I love my wife and have no reason to commiserate.

I don’t know any guys who complain about their wives from a “sharing” sense. Guys don’t do that. As a PP said we joke about them but that’s about it.

We don’t and never have. We joke, bitch and moan about marriage in general but not about our actual wives. It’s basic macho, locker room talk and we joke about the crazy stuff that wives do but it’s not complaining it’s just that they do crazy stuff. This is not commonly discussed, but every once in a while when guard is really let down guys complain about sexual incompatability.

The fact that the comparison is always the way things should be instead of the way they are. Life happens learn to adapt. There doesn’t have to be a reason for everything. And you don’t have to put emotion into every decision. Things are what they are.
