I have a monthly premium of $437.45 with a $1750 annual deductible (my health savings offset a lot of the deductible). It covers 6 IUIs and 3 IVF attempts with a lifetime max of 100k. For IVF meds, I was only responsible for paying $550, everything else was covered.
How do you like the HMO? I went with the PPO because of the specialist referral requirement but kind of wish I had gone with the HMO.
I have no complaints about the HMO (especially since CareFirst has a large network of providers). I must pay $30 per visit to see a specialist, but I don’t need a referral.
Bummer, for some reason I thought you needed a referral. I totally would have done the HMO!
