Crosstrek is the *exact* same car as the Impreza. Just lifted - so less aerodynamic and therefore worse MPG (although better if you offroad). More expensive + worse MPG + no performance difference = huge scam.

SUV is such that once you own one you never want to look back at sedans. SUV's have so much more room, air and so much easier to get in and out.

What’s your budget? You need to be more specific about your preferences.

I currently drive a 2008 Honda Accord. I am a single mom with one toddler. I want a medium size sedan or possibly a small SUV (although that’s probably not in budget and gas would probably be too expensive.) This is what’s important to me, in this order:
- safety (for me and for my backseat passenger)
- reliability and maintenance costs
- purchase price

Should I get another Accord? A Subaru (and if so, which one)?
