Go to the wiresless network list that your computer is sensing in the area and see which of them are free and open to use. Some are. Others are private and secured. Those you can not use but the free ones you can just use.

If you live in an area that has a free wifi… you got it for free. Some cities or hoods have it.
Also if you live close enough to some public place that offers it, you might be within the reach because the wifi spreads always beyond the walls of the place.

To see a list of providers in your area, search here (generally the phone and cable companies both offer service, but some areas have other providers):

If you are low-income, you may qualify for special lower priced service. More information here:

The only thing you can do is increase your data plan on you’re ohone to unlimited; tether and make your phone a hotspot to get online at home. This won’t work for streaming to a fire stick, I think there is a bandwidth limit.

Xfinity is $50-80/mo for monthly internet only and includes access to their network anywhere there is Xfinity’s service. More secure than public free hot spots.

Is there any product that allows you or have WiFi in your own IF you do not subscribe to any cable company.? I usually go to public places to use WiFi, but would love to have it home, I cannot afford a cable bill. Is this possible for free? Thank you so much for any ideas!
